Mobile Phones in School – Parent Survey

• Our current policy is: phones should be off/silent and out of sight in bags.

• We are looking again at this policy.

• We would like to hear your opinion: please fill in the survey link in the attached letter.

• We asked our students: 60% said they use their phones for more than 5 hours a day, many pupils use them for more than that.

• We think this is too much.

• We understand that the phones are very important to our students.

• However, phones can be very distracting in class.

• Phones can cause problems in class and stop good learning.
